Avance del estudio arqueológico de la cuenca media-baja del río Arga (Navarra): Prospecciones

Abstract

It's given a first assessment of the archaelogical surveys which have been carried out in this area for the last years. The results of this research help to find out the cultural sequency and the ways of life while the Prehistoric and Ancient Ages in the valley. The oldest archaelogical remains that have been found, date at a inaccurate Lower-Middle Paleolithic. Since the last Neolithic period and, above all, since the Calcolithic, the area began to be settled with a certain intensity and continued in this way until the present time.
