Abstract

The author introduces Merula's biography. Merula was a Duthc geographer and historian who wrote a "General Cosmography". The author transcribes the part of the translated text that concretely refers to the Basque Country and language, and to the geography of Bizkaia, Gipuzkoa and Navarre
