Abstract

The study we expose here is part of a wider thematic research on the society of one of the regions in Biscay, called Arratia-Nervion. I will analyse the mechanisms of the rural socialization within the changing society of the XVIIIth century, as well as the different kinds of conflicts that were expereinced in that society. I have tried to reconstruct the social stratification in its functional and dynamic sense
