Abstract

Lyric Abstraction or Abstract Expressionism rose between the 50s and 60s on both sides of the Atlantic and it also had a considerable repercussion in the Basque country, where the works of Chillida, Ruiz Balerdi, Sistiaga, Jiménez y Arias stand out. The present work intends to offer a view, both synchronic and diachronic of this tendency
