Abstract

The present study compiles the pieces of carved wood of the Lay and Religious buildings of the Carranza Valley (From the XV-th century to the end of the XIX-th century). These elements are part of the building and the more usual among the lay ones are: eaves, balaustres, pillars, lintels and gables on balconies. Among the religious ones there is a great number of eaves, choir barristers as well as pillars and lintels in portals. In Parish Churches and Hermitages neither altarpieces nor pulpits have been studieed
