Abstract

The author analyzes the Statute. The 1931 Constitution rejected the Jurisdictions as well as the Federation, creating a Statute of Autonomy that would allow the territories to reach a self-governance. The author describes the Statute in the light of the 1979 Constitution and its nature, as well as its political characteristics. The future of the Statute is also analyzed
