Algunas precisiones en torno a la ciudad romana de Iruña

Abstract

As a part of a global program that we are carrying out for the critical revision and archaeological valuation of the Romanization in Alava, we include our researchs on the Roman city of Iruña, being the article a first andvance on the subjet. These research have been recovered, proceeding the to the following points of view: -The data from former excavation and field works have been recovered, proceeding the to the critical valuation and reinterpretation. -The inside and sorroundings of the oppidum have been methodically prospected. - The information obtained from the Geophisic prospections program carried out in the deposit have been checked and reinterpreted. With all these data, and in a second phase, an updated planimetry of Iruña deposit has been carried out, integrating the results obtained.
