Abstract

The origin of Estíbaliz is not known although it is known that in 1064 one of its altars was transferred to the Monastery of San Millán. The structure of the building and the facade is described, the animated and vegetable ornamentation, its influence on other buildings in Alava. The symbolism of the images is also studied
