Abstract

This study includes the wooden parts carved in civil and religious buildings in the Gordejuela Valley and Valmaseda Village (15th century until the end of the 19th century). These elements are part of the building and those most frequently found on civil buildings are: corbels on the eaves, corbels, balustrades, posts, lintels and gables on the balconies. The religious buildings have corbels on the eaves, pulpits, chorus railings, as well as posts and lintels in the porches. The alterpieces of parish churches and hermitages have not been studied
