Stone and wood are worked on depending on the nature of the material that is being worked on and on the size of the task to accomplish and the craftsman's ability. Different methods of carving are mentioned and the main decoration motifs are classified. The most abundant of such motifs are geometrical and lineal drawings and realist pictures.
